Ok - I keep saying I'll post more but that doesn't seem to be happening. I need to have a quest or something that makes me kinda need to post everyday.
Anyway since my post ages ago, I have now started driving lessons (and I started a while back - I have my 11th lesson tomorrow). Let's just say and I defiantly not a good driver, I just suck, I can't get the bite, I can't work the gear stick and I can't even tell which side of the road is mine lol. Yer that sounds stupid but it's sooo hard. Plus I feel sooooo guilty because my driving instructor now thinks that I hate driving and more importantly hate her, and I really don't i love driving I'm just really struggling. But on the bright side, a girl at college is taking her test soon and she said she was were I am when she was driving and that by her 15th or so lesson it all clicked, so I can only hope it does especially as lessons are not cheap and I wanna drive, because national express is not my friend and waiting for the train every morning is not fun. Even though by the time I get my licence I may have finished college, plus it may be cheaper to get the train anyway. But I had to get the train four times in one day on Wednesday because I had to go to college, get the train back home during my two hour lunch to get my mum's birthday present (on her actually birthday as well - because I didn't have time to get it during the holidays as I live nowhere near the shopping part of my town, I live in the middle of nowhere where it's an hours walk to the shops and another hours walk back, hence why I want my licence), so yer got the train home because the present she wanted could only be found in this little shop at home, plus she had her heart set on it. Then I had to get the train back to college and get the train home again, it's only a seven minute train journey but still annoying waiting around, thank god I had my pass or it would have cost me loads. I also didn't end up leaving college till 5 o'clock because I had this fake interview thing.
Anyway I've been editing a bit more trying out some new effects etc, I upgraded to Vegas pro 8 (may have posted that before), so I now have the masking tool, HD rendering, unlimited layers and lots of other good stuff. Finally finished of my group film at college, and I quite like the end result, especially as it was made in iMovie which is just terrible bad, it's even worse than WMM which is saying something, and Macs are my enemy because they are as different from a windows as technically possible (maybe for legal reasons or something, but I HAVE to like them if I get into the industry), maybe when I can finally use final cut next year I'll like them a bit more, but around ten hours of editing screaming at a computer is not fun. Been waiting all year to use that program, so going to be watching some tutorials and getting out some books on the program before college starts again next September. I can't believe I've nearly finished my first year already! But I can't wait to narrow down my work and try to focus on film and hopefully drop the media areas I'm not really that interested in like Magazine and Radio, (don't get me wrong I love both but only to listen to and read, not to make myself).
Well that seems like everything, I'll TRY to post something tomorrow, but that seems unlikely!
